Mr. James (Jim) Joseph Samarco Jr., of Huntersville, N.C., went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, September 06, 2017 at the age of 73.
Jim was born to parents, James and Claire Samarco, on June 18, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA. He has 3 sisters, Anne, Martha, and Lisa. He moved to Florida in his youth where he later gave his life to Christ. He was immersed in the Christian faith and that would be his life long passion.

He loved to paint, to fiddle around the house, and Panthers football.
Jim is survived by his wife, Debbie; their sons, Christian and Josiah Samarco; their daughter, Joanna Harris, and his daughter, Wednesday Kundrat; 7 grandchildren, Lacey Hargett, Izic Harris, Luke Harris, Sakari Harris, Lilly Samarco, Jameson Samarco and Della Erwin. He is preceded in death by his parents; James and Claire; his sister, Lisa Samarco.
He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at home with his Creator.
