After Bill died in 1979, Louise continued to live in Sun City, where she also outlived two other loves in her life: Claude Fritz (deceased 1995) and Horace Glenn (deceased 2015 at the age of 100). After Horace’s death, Louise moved to Huntersville to be close to her daughter Linda.
The past year has provided the opportunity for Louise to see more of her children and grandchildren. Through the world of social media, families and friends across the country have seen Louise and the many happy moments she has experienced.
The family extends its deepest appreciation and thanks to the many caregivers in her life over the past 2 years at The Woodmark Assisted Living in Sun City, AZ, and at Carillon Assisted Living in Huntersville, NC. Thanks and appreciation are also extended to the staff at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center, the Novant Adult Medicine Practice, and the Novant Health Hospice unit for their wonderful care of Louise, especially in her final visit this month.
A celebration of Louise’s life will be held in the Chicago area at a future date.
